Request summary
The Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS21) aims to improve the production, quality, availability and use of statistics for informed decision-making and sustainable development. Established in 1999 by the United Nations, the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, PARIS21 works with governments, international organizations, civil society and other stakeholders to strengthen national statistical systems, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

The 2025 PARIS21 Annual Board and Partnership Meetings, to be held in Paris on 5–6 November 2025, - preparatory meetings are taking place on 4 November 2025 - will provide a platform to discuss coordinated and sustainable support for statistical capacity development, with a focus on Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
