Request for support was transmitted by the Ministry of Energy and Mines as well as UN RCO. The Government endorsed a private sector project led by a major local investment bank to capitalize a fund to support transitioning the public bus fleets from diesel engines to electric. The project was supported for an effective presentation at the 10th SDGI Fair in Sevilla and for an interview with a European environmental media outlet. Investor interest was strong and new connections were made to kickstart additional due diligence of the project by infrastructure investors following the event.
