Kiribati is progressing toward SDG achievement and LDC graduation but continues to face challenges due to structural vulnerabilities and climate change. The Government seeks technical assistance from the UN to better understand graduation and monitoring processes and ensure timely reporting. The UN RCO in Micronesia has been supporting these efforts and proposes strengthening engagement with DESA and the CDP, including through in-person consultations in Kiribati. The RCO expresses readiness to coordinate further support and collaboration.
