The Workshop will train participants from national statistical offices on quality assurance and its implementation throughout the national statistical system. It will provide an overview of the contents of the Manual and the UN National Quality Assurance Framework. It will train participants in quality assurance when using administrative and other data sources to produce official statistics using a newly developed tool. The workshop will review and discuss the implementation of quality assurance in participating countries. The Workshop will allow participating countries to share their country practices and challenges in implementing their national quality assurance framework. In addition, the Workshop will discuss the implementation of quality assurance in conjunction with the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM). The sharing of experiences will also support the development of further implementation guidance.
