We sent out a call for students in August 2023 for guided eLaerning session on small area estimation and received 200 requests from national statistical offices, line ministries, academia and international agencies. Indonesia BPS also sent an email request to us for the eLearning course. Between October-December 2023, a cohort of around 120 students joined guided sessions of the eLearning course . Out of the students joined the eLearning course, two students were exceptional. They are from Indonesia BPS and Statistics South Africa.
Request summary
As a response to the request to support building capacities of NSOs on small area estimation, we are inviting two students to join the upcoming Small Area Estimation Conference, in Peru, for more trainings and network opportunities with SAE experts. They will also share their learning experience with the others.
