Together with the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) and the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), DPIDG organized a workshop on ‘Strengthening National Institutional Capacities for the UN Decade of Action for Sustainable Development and AU Agenda 2063’ in Cape Town, South Africa from 27 -29 October 2022. The workshop is the third regional capacity building workshop DESA and the APRM have organized on the implementation of the UN principles of effective governance for sustainable development in Africa. Representatives from Government, international organisations and civil society from African countries attended the event.
