Request summary
DPIDG, DSDG and OISC has received request from APRM-UNDESA joint activities in 2023 to assist African countries implementation and monitoring of Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063
(i) A three-day continental peer learning workshop for African countries preparing their VNRs in 2023. The Government of Namibia will host the workshop, including knowledge sharing and capacity building for national experts on national planning, finance, and other authorities in Africa.
(ii) A one-day public policymaking workshop for achieving Agenda 2063 and SDGs in Namibia, requested by the Government, held back to back with the VNR workshop described above.
(iii) Annual fourth joint continental workshop on the principles of effective governance for sustainable development and the implementation of both Agendas, to be held in October 2023.
