The overall objective is to strengthen the country's efforts to consolidate water security, complements the national processes for updating public policy and contributes to the generation of capacities of national actors at all levels. This will be done through an initial assessment workshop, jointly organized by DESA and UNESCO. Once the assessment is done and accepted by the government, additional advisory missions will be undertaken by the most relevant UN Water member organizations.
