A five-day training workshop on the design of in-person Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop on evidence-based, risk informed and data driven Asset Management Action Plans (AMAPS) in Tanzania. As part of capacity building and ensure smooth transfer of knowledge, the TOT focused mainly to the trainers from Local Government Training Institute (LGTI). In addition to LGTI, some participants were drawn from the Ministry of Finance and Planning (Mainland Tanzania), the Ministry of Finance and Planning (Zanzibar), President Office-Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), and representatives and from local governments authorities.

The workshop was implemented in an innovative hybrid format in which participants were on-site with FSDO support from national consultants and international expert trainers. The training was undertaken from morning to the evening. The sessions were very interactive and the training participants had a chance of designing Asset Management Course and made presentations during the training.
