This guide provides practical tools and ideas on planning and implementing citizen engagement practices.

The Private sector toolkit is geared towards enhancing partnership between youth and the private sector, and is aimed both at strengthening youth participation at all levels through cooperation among various stakeholders, as well as at highlighting the role
of youth as agents of development.

The guide aims to assist development partners working with and for youth – including Governments, donor agencies, policy makers, NGOs and civil society – and to increase understanding of the growing importance of, and greater potential for, youth participation in development.

The United Nations E-Government Development Database (UNeGovDD) is a benchmarking tool that provides a comparative assessment for monitoring progress of a country’s E-Government Development from 2003 to 2010. As such it provides an interactive snapshot picture of a country’s E-Government Development in the world.

The manual provides operational guidelines for the preparation and implementation of a post enumeration survey.It presents an overview of the various methods of evaluating censuses with a focus on the post enumeration survey methodology covering sample design, questionnaire design, planning and implementation of the survey, matching, field reconciliation and estimation of coverage and content errors.

This report is a step towards better understanding of country practices and difficulties and challenges in maintaining the civil registration system and in collecting and compiling vital statistics. The report can help countries in the African region to share experiences while in the process of improving their civil registration and vital statistics system.
