Managing Conflict of Interest in Public InstitutionsConflict of interest in both the public and private sectors have become a major matter of public concern worldwide. Participants learn what conflicts of interest are, where they commonly arise, and how they can lead to corruption if left unmanaged. The course covers strategies for managing these risks, including interest and asset declarations and global disclosure policies.
This course is based on the Toolkit on Transparency, Accountability and Ethics in Public Institutions that is part of the Curriculum on Governance for the Sustainable Development Goals, developed by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
