This course looks at the essentials of ethics and public integrity. This course covers the roles and responsibilities of public servants, the integrity challenges and ethical dilemmas public servants can face and how they can behave in critical situations. It also explores how the core concepts of ethics, integrity and accountability are interlinked and work as a system to achieve public integrity.
This course is based on the Toolkit on Transparency, Accountability and Ethics in Public Institutions that is part of the Curriculum on Governance for the Sustainable Development Goals, developed by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
