From Modules to Platform
The Digiatlization of Social Protection (DSP) Gateway integrates capacity-building modules into a broader digital infrastructure. The platform comprises four interconnected components:

DSP Capacity Development e-Course: A self-paced online learning program built on the three modules developed by EPRI. Module 1 examines the relevance and foundations of digitalization in social protection, covering fundamental principles and best practices. Module 2 provides practical guidance on developing digitalization roadmaps and mapping institutional actors involved in digitalization efforts. Module 3 equips participants with the tools and methodologies necessary for developing key performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of digitalization for social protection programmes.

Country Workshop Digital Companion: A digital support system for DESA's in-person capacity-building workshops. The companion provides preparatory materials to help participants engage more effectively during workshops, hosts workshop resources for easy reference, and offers structured follow-up activities to reinforce learning. Each country workshop cohort has its own dedicated digital space to continue collaboration after the in-person sessions conclude.

DSP Capacity Development e-Hub: An interactive community of practice connecting practitioners, technical experts, and policy officers across countries to share experiences and collaborate on digitalization challenges. The hub features country-specific discussion rooms where national teams can coordinate their efforts, thematic forums focused on specific technical topics, and a global exchange space facilitating cross-regional learning and South-South cooperation.

Capacity Development Resources & Events e-Hub: A centralized repository providing access to curated case studies documenting digitalization experiences from various countries, practical toolkits and implementation guides, relevant research and policy briefs, and information on upcoming workshops, webinars, and conferences related to social protection digitalization.

SDG(s): SDG 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere, SDG 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, SDG 16: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
