This course aims to enhance the capacity of civil servants in Africa. It aims to: 1) Understand the overall role of HRM for Africa’s development. 2) Identify current challenges and opportunities for HRM in Africa's public sector 3) Understand concepts and tools for the strategic management of human resources.

This course aims to enhance the capacity of Human Resources Managers in the Public Service in Africa and to contribute to the improvement of analysis and formulation of effective human resource development policies and strategies as part of public service transformation in African countries.

This training material aims to support the development of capacities in the directive, executive and professional levels involved in Human Resources and Capacity fields in the public sector.
