As part of the implementation of the DA project on policy experimentation and regulatory sandboxes, the virtual workshop for Bangladesh helped to sensitize the concept, to share knowledge and to experience related to policy experimentation and regulatory sandboxes, among national stakeholders and experts and to identify opportunities for Bangladesh’s cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CSMSMEs). More than 20 participants from government branches, financial institutions, banks and private sectors, discussed the challenges for the CMSMEs, in terms of access to market, access to service, access to finance, and access to skills. Through the fruitful discussion, the sandbox team set out goals and directions of the upcoming in-person workshop to be held on 22-23 June in Dhaka.
