we kindly request your support starting early 2023 in providing technical assistance to
local government officials from [5] governorates tasked with infrastructure asset management. In
particular we seek your assistance in implementing (1) diagnostic field assessments of these local
governments to identify priority areas for intervention on asset management; (2) subsequent
customized online workshops to introduce the fundamentals of asset management to these officials
and (3) in-country support by a national expert consultants in the design and implementation of
basic local Asset Management Action Plans, as outlined in chapter 4 of the Handbook, that are
effectively linked to national and subnational efforts to implement the SDGs.
