2/6: The Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Inclusive Social Development will conduct a two-day international workshop on Optimizing Poverty Reductions: Measurement and Tools to Inform Policies to support countries in responding to the rising income poverty challenge. The workshop will be organized in collaboration with ESCWA. ESCWA will provide substantive expertise and logistical support to the workshop and will host the workshop. The workshop will focus on the use of poverty measures for policy and poverty reduction strategies.
