The Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO), in partnership with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), organized an in-person Training of Trainers session on infrastructure asset management from 14-15 October 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The main objective of the workshop was to strengthen the capacity among local government training bodies, namely the Bangladesh Municipal Development Fund (BMDF), and selected Urban Local Governments (ULBs) in Bangladesh to train other ULBs on how to implement the infrastructure asset management toolkits of the UN Handbook in support of sustainable development.
