Request summary
DPIDG was requested by the Government of Lebanon to organize a training workshop on “Transparency, Accountability and Ethics in Public Institutions with a focus on Public Procurement”- to b e held in October 2021. It was postponed to 2023 due to competing demands in the Unit. The training is to be based on the Curriculum Toolkit on Ethics developed by DPIDG.
The request was a follow-up to the virtual virtual workshop on "Transparency, Accountability and Ethics in Public Institutions with a focus on Public Procurement" organized by the UNDESA and the Kenya School of Government on March 24-25, 2021 for the joint organization of a similar capacity development workshop for the Government of Lebanon, with the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan as implementing partner.
