In response to the invitation of DESA to participate in the Retreat of the Pacific UNCT (which includes the Samoa and Fiji MCOs) for the preparation of the CCA/CF, DESA offered to support the development of the Pacific CCA macroeconomic pillar. At the outset of the COVID-19 crisis, both RCs requested DESA support to contribute to the preparation of their respective socio-economic impact assessment of COVID-19
