Government officials from Bangladesh were invited to take part in the Executive Development Course on Digital Government for Transformation Towards Sustainable and Resilient Societies – The Singapore Experience, which was held on April 2-6, 2018 in Singapore. The Course was attended by 27 participants, mainly the national SDG focal points, from 20 countries in Asia and the Pacific, Eastern Africa and Latin America. The Course was composed of sessions and panel discussions on diverse topics of digital government as well as several field visits to experience Singapore’s digital government services. Active discussions and exchanges of country cases on leveraging digital government for SDG implementation took place throughout the Course. The Course was well received by the participants with 92% of them rating it very good or excellent.

DPIDG was requested by Bangladesh to provide support in: 1. Training of relevant Stakeholders for scaling up new initiatives around the world; 2. Government Innovation and Inclusive Public Service Delivery; 3. Equipping Public Servants for transforming mindset; 4. Workshop/Symposium for building networks of policy makers, technologists, researchers and thinkers from across disciplines to gain deeper insight on governance, Stakeholder Engagement, digital government, ICT, A.I, Cyber Security, Smart Technologies, Transformation, impact of e-government and many other contemporary issues.
